Ucore Uranium Announces Appointment of Vice President Business Development and Launch of New Website

Ucore Uranium Inc. (“Ucore” or the “Corporation”) is pleased to announce that, subject to regulatory approval, it has appointed Mr. Jim McKenzie Vice President Business Development of the Corporation effective November 1, 2006.

Mr. McKenzie is an entrepreneur with extensive experience in marketing and communications in multiple industries. He is the former President of Worldmax Communications Inc, a national telecommunications marketing firm, and the former President and Vice President of TigerTel Communications Inc., a former wholly owned subsidiary of AT&T Corp. and AT&T Canada. Mr. McKenzie has managed marketing campaigns on behalf of several national organizations, including Bell Canada Enterprises, Lucent Technologies, Rogers Mobile, Cogeco, Cablenet, the Christian Children’s Fund of Canada and the Canadian Red Cross Society. He holds a Bachelor of Commerce Degree from Dalhousie University in Halifax .

The Corporation is also pleased to announce that it has today launched a new website for the communication of corporate and exploration based activities.
